We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. In this position, you will drive our company's box truck from our facility to local companies. Every delivery will be less than 50 miles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
- Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload product at delivery locations
- Verify and prepare orders using load sheets and handheld devices
- Complete required delivery documentation and DOT logs accurately and timely
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and internal personnel
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of truck repeatedly throughout shift
